Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

this is why I think we never see Color4K replacement (in fixed lens version) from Dahua. those 8Mpx 1/1.2" F1.0 cams were one-time exercise from both Dahua & HIK, using available that time old Sony Starvis sensor which was designed for vehicle recorders (lack of IR support). HIK replaced those...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

aperture is only about how much light is coming to sensor and how big/small DOF is... Your liking / dis-liking is more about video image processing. Wiz-Color processing is very different to classic Dahua Starlight processing. is something between classic very analog 5442 and awful very digital...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I don't have access to for varifocal (only fixed). But it shouldn't be too big difference in brightness.. But for me 3.6mm with 3.5m close focus distance is too risky..

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

For now Andy have only 2 turrets in the shop - one fixed lens 54PRO-AS and varifocal 54PRO-ZE, a short reminder of the main differences... and why it's worth paying extra for varifocal??? Fixed lens (54PRO-AS) Varifocal lens (54PRO-ZE) Minimal illumination0.0004 [email protected](Color, 30IRE)...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

yes, new 5x59-PRO have heating in bullet models, 5x59-IL haven't.. but power usage for heating is 3.6W.. 1.6W of basic power usage difference can be AI-ISP / WizColor processing (-IL don't have this) + different sensor power usage.. so there is missing 4W for something else (max 16.1 vs 24.2W...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I tested my pre production T54PRO-AS... at day in normal usage with AcuPick enabled it takes around 4-5W.. Enabling WDR increases power usage about 0.5-1W.. Power cycle jumps to 8W.. Data reported by POE switch... With white LEDs enabled in manual mode at 100% it takes 9-10W.. the same with...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

The same situation we have now with WIFI access points.. Up to WIFI6 old smaller APs fitted in POE power ratings (12W), bigger into POE+ (24W).. Now with WIFI7 and one extra frequency (6GHz) all APs doubled max power usage levels. So smaller/medium WIFI 7 APs are fitting in POE+ power settings...

My Dahua 5x42 S3 / T/B5xIR Related Bugs As Promised

The 608-XI has a strange status with Dahua – it's supposedly a top-of-the-line NVR, but for some reason Dahua won't publicly release firmware with the new functionality for it. CUSTOM (not public) firmware versions are available, where the full functionality of AcuPick 2.0 (and many other...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

54IR takes 3.5-4.3W minimum and up to 9.8W max (with 4 strong IR diodes).. turrets had smaller max, due only 2 LEDs.. 54PRO is taking minimum 4.1W for turrets and 5.3W (??? why ???) for bullets Very small difference for much more advanced processing in minimal config. Big difference is for max...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Xinghan Vision Models - it's name for new more accurate AI models.. For now we have them for IVS on 5xPRO.. new IVS detect object even at 20x20 pixel size, so detections distance goes up from 25m to 50m (on fixes lens 36mm). to enable new IVS, we must disable AcuPick and select Large Scale...
