Storage medium abnormal Dahua DH-SD1A404XB-GNR

Hi guys, I installed two of these PTZ cameras and they're both indicating the "storage medium abnormal" error in the DMSS mobile app, I've formatted them both using the DMSS mobile app. Installed Samsung 256MB flash memory cards, has anyone experienced this problem before? Do they require a specific format such as FAT32 using a computer? Below I've pasted the memory card model.

They do not require FAT32. They use their own format.

No idea why they would show that. Can you run format from in the camera Web GUI?

Yes, several times now and the error appears in the DMSS app for both of these PTZ cameras. I asked AI and the reply referenced a FAT32 PC format requirement, using 128GB memory card instead of the maximum 256GB mentioned in the manual and third was an incompatibility to this brand and model memory card.

Yes, I'm able to watch past video but the error persists, it notifies once a day or two

So its working (recording) just giving you a bad/false alert?

I'd leave it and spend time on something else

Ignore
