New York City just elected Zohran Mamdani as its next mayor, and in his victory speech, he reiterated his “democratic socialist” ideology and invoked the words of perennial Socialist Party presidential candidate Eugene Debs. Although he struck a somewhat more moderate tone on the campaign trail, framing his radical policies with vague allusions to “dignity,” it only takes a quick look back at past statements to see how extreme his politics really are. Mamdani doesn’t just want to temporarily freeze rents. In his ideal world, he would abolish private property altogether.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino announced the creation of the Fifa Peace Prize, to be awarded each year to “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”. The inaugural award will be presented on 5 December during the World Cup draw at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, a high-profile event that Trump is expected to attend.
The timing has drawn attention given Trump’s ongoing preoccupation with the Nobel peace prize, which he has aggressively campaigned for and carped about throughout his presidency.

I like what DeSantis said about the Blue States/Cities voters Exodus who moved, we would seen different Nov. 4th results had they not moved...
But, I still did not see a Blue Wave as MSM is pushing. More like a ripple...even Mandani had a low % win compared to previous NY mayor races...
