I am about to replace an old computer with another one for a cousin of mine. I know I will have to purchase a new Blue Iris program because its not transferable. Can I copy the backup files from blue iris from the old computer, to a thumb drive, and back on the new computer. I do not want to have to set up each camera again. I also want to install BI from my house on his new computer before i deliver it to him. Thanks

you can export the .reg file in settings on his computer to a thumb drive. just do a new export beforehand to get the latest backup.
Also if you disable the license on the old one first you can use that license to activate the new one.....Or it used to be that way anyway.
