5,000 would help Trump’s re-election, er the midterms. But, 5,000 indiscriminate spending will fuel inflation.

I want citizens to have skin in the game. Yes, in particular those to receive "tax credits" who don't actually pay taxes but get a "refund". I want them to feel what not getting that $5K feels like.

I’m good with that, but I’d like to see them wait until the midterms, or the next election.
I’d rather see a cut in taxes, no taxes on overtime etc than a one time refund or credit.
