Here is my situation.
I have a Hikvision NVR and 2 ANPR cameras. One ANPR is older and one is newer.
Everything works great but my email notifications are a headache.
If I set the email notifications through the NVR both come through. When I only had 1 ANPR camera the email photo was high definition.
The problem is once I added the second ANPR camera the screenshots sent from the NVR of both ANPR cameras come through but at a lower quality. Way lower.
I tried turning off the email notifications from the NVR and only have them go through each individual camera. The problem is my first (older ANPR) doesn’t have the option for email notifications on the GUI. The Second one does.
My idea was to allow the NVR to do the email for the older ANPR and have the new ANPR camera send the notification for itself.
Here is the problem. When I turn off notifications on the NVR for the 2nd camera (newer one), I only get notifications for the older camera. Even after checking the newer ANPR GUI it is in fact set to send emails. But they don’t come through. They do come through if I turn off ALL notifications for both ANPR cams on the nvr.
My assumption is the NVR is telling the new ANPR to not send emails.
