Push Alerts Sounds on Samsung Mobile

Hi,

I cant get my Samsung S24 Android to play any alert notification sound other than the default one for the phone.
I would like to hear a BI sound so to differentiate from other notifications coming to the mobile.

I've tried a lot of different settings and fixes but none seems to work.

Anyone know the fix?

Check that all the Notification categories are enabled.

Having the same problem it all started after the 6.0.5.0 have rolled back two the most stable update but still playing up.
just hoping it sorts its self out at some point, have sent a email in to support maybe a good idea to do the same. The more emails Ken gets
more chance he will look in to it

Update
Have got the sounds working again uninstalled blue iris and put in version 6.0.4.2 and all was working ok.
have moved back to the newest version 6.0.5.4 and all is still working
hope this helps
PS think it all went pear shaped with version 6.0.5.0 that was only around for a few hours

its been a few hours and its stopped working again its gone back to being the default sound :idk:

Its a bizarre issue what version Samsung software you running , I'm on UI One v8.0 Android 16.

I emailed blue iris support they said they haven't had any problems from anyone and a new Mobile App will be released in 2026.

That's what I got told. I can get it to work for a bit of time by putting on a old version and updating to the new one but after a few hours it just starts with the default sound again so going to just go with it until the new app comes out
