The reason for naming it V6besta2a instead of V6beta3 is that it was the second file updated on 11/10.
Ken did freshen the changelog PDF in this iteration - see below.

5.9.9.99 is the version 6 public beta and will not appear as an automatic update. You may find it on the Check for News and Updates window under "Other available versions." As occasional revisions will be made to this single version number, watch for date changes to stay current.
