Getting the hang of it

I have a Hikvision NVR5416-4KS2, and I'm running SmartPSS-Lite at home to at least manage it remotely within my own network.
My edge device is a Firewalla Purple, which supports VPN

My public IP is: 204.111.xxx.xxx and my ISP is GloFiber.
My Firewalla's public IP is 100.68.xxx.xxx, and this device supports WireGuard and OpenVPN.

From what I can find, this 100.x.x.x addres is Carrier Grade NAT and non-routable on public internet.

Trying to figure out the best way to be able to view my camera network while remote.

I'm thinking a call to my ISP asking for a truly public IP would be the first step...and hope it's not $$.

Other ideas?

Hell yeah.
Installed it on my Windows PC and my Android phone.
Used my Google account to authenticate
Added a route via Command Line in Windows to advertise my local LAN subnet to tailscale:
tailscale set --advertise-routes=192.168.226.0/24
Jumped in the Tailscale admin console (web) and approved the subnet.
Used Fing, tested ping, worked
DMSS, opened up my feeds!
Good to go -- thank you @looney2ns !!
