I am looking to get the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E to work with my hikvision 7608ni-k2/8p NVR. (I need to see a gate 90ft away)
The NVR will be 60 ft away from the installed camera.
I already planned to use a POE switch and run the cat 6 cable to the camera. I want to setup the AUDIO IN and OUT, plus the ALARM IN and OUT.
1) Am i supposed to run the ALARM IN/OUT back to the NVR , via a 2 wire cable, or is it meant to be interfaced with an external device like an alarm system? Can i run this in the same conduit as the Cat 6?
2) Do i need this micophone\speaker to work with the camera?
