Elevator Corner Camera

I am looking to place a camera in an elevator. Normally these go in the upper inside corner. Looks like Dahua had a model for this IPC-HCBW8442 but a few sites tell me this is discontinued.

Does anyone know of a replacement model number thats available? FOV of this 8442 is hard to match in the everything else I'm seeing.

I'd more lean towards a 360 camera, dead center of ceiling. Of course, your corner cameras are vandal proofed and the 360 is not. But eh... if someone wants to shield the view of any camera within the confines of an elevator, not sure if vandal proofed or not will help.

Not really - your google was a generic search that of course I had already spent hours looking.
Your second was a search of the Dahua site for elevator that all but 1 result was not even a camera. The one camera that did return, I can't find for sale.

Which of course is why my post specifically asked for Dahua options that are available.

I'll probably have to go with the 360 camera as Holbs suggested.

to be fair... Looney is NOT a distribution dealer so he is unable to give you what is on the market for availability with all the tariffs and Dahua restrictions going on in the USA. He did show you a Dahua link for elevator camera's available globally. To say he was not helpful would be incorrect. He just is not Dahua God

Never said he was a dealer, nor expected. His search results where generic and worse than the hours I spent already looking. Suggesting even that I had not done a simple google search. I was not looking for a link to purchase but a discussion on Dahua cameras that people have used with a good FOV for a smaller area like an elevator.

The model I included in my original post was after hours of searching and had a decent FOV to capture an elevator...but 5 vendors told me it was out of stock and discontinued. Thinking that IPCAMTALK surely has options for an equivalent dahua, I posted.

The 360 camera is probably my best shot.

yea... that HDPW5441C-AS-PV on the Dahua page looks like a fantastic elevator camera...but geez... lots of bells & whistles (anti-moped, x/y axis, temp).
a basic 360 will work. ensure you get one with audio recordings.
