Hi!

I keep having issues with my Dahua NVR, the camera's are directly connected with the NVR's PoE, before it showed the port number, now port 37777 and I can't use the blue icon next to it anymore to reach the setting menu of the camera.
Hopefully somebody has the tip to fix this?

I even tried to factory reset the camera but it keeps showing port 3777

It’s likely because you manually added them forcing them from top pane to bottom pane.

You have to let them move to bottom by themselves. Patience.

  • Unplug one camera at a time.
  • Clear the entry for that camera by highlighting that channel and hitting delete
  • plug the camera back in and wait. Wait. Wait some more.
  • click Refresh at bottom and it should show in bottom pane with green dot and port 1

Then do the others one at a time

I've waited for 30min but nothing happens, not after reboot or 1000x refresh.
Could this be a firmware difference of my NVR?

I also read it could be something with ONVIF, but I have no idea how to turn this off, because I can't enter the setup page of the camera.

You said it worked before and had the right port numbers (1)

If the cameras weren’t Dahua then it would try to use port 37777 ONVIF but if Dahua cams I don’t think that’s the case.

You could always factory default the cameras individually using the button on the trap door for the sd card

Yes, all the camera's are from Dahua, and i've had a port number before (1-8).
I also factory reset the camera's by press and holding the button inside. After that I had to initialize the camera's again, with the same password as the NVR.
But they still show up with 37777 and it drives me crazy.

There's no way it pops up on the bottom with a PoE port number after waiting, only by searching and adding it from the top. Wich i know is not the right way to solve this.
Changed the ip to DHCP instead of static. After the reset the camera shows a standard ip adres XXX.108

The camera's work after adding it with the 37777, but I can't reach the menu of the camera with the blue icon. I's blue but says the page can't find it.
I've tried to update the firmware, first remotely wich failed, and with a usb drive in the nvr, it reboots after the update, but it still shows V4.001.0000000.1, 2020-03-19.
I downloaded: DH_NVR4x-4KS2L_MultiLang_V4.003.0000000.1.R.240515.bin

But it looks like my NVR won't eat it.

It looks like the NVR remembers the camera settings.
My last try would be to factory reset the NVR, but i'm afraid this will cause more problems.

Something had to have changed to make this happen. Any idea on what you did?
Did you update FW on the NVR and then this happened?

I didn’t tried to update the firmware before this problem. I hoped that an update would change it pops up on the bottom. Do you know if there’s a never version available that should work?

I have V4.001 and tried V4.003, maybe I should update it to V4.002 first?

I did changed the pasword of the NVR and cleaned the outside of the NVR case, after placing it back the camera’s can be on a different port number.
