Res is low but it serves its purpose Pc email Phone email and the images are 4:3 not 16:9 ?? which is very stupid -

?? your biggest issue will be upload speed, dont worry about a IP cam system, if you want to see things as they happen just hope your ISP isnt doing maintenance on your line, that is where your issues will come from- hiky

Funy enough i had to change my camera / NVR DNS server setting to my ISP`s DNS Server setting, some people have had luck with the google DNS Server setting so i use that as primary and secondary is my ISP DNS Server setting -

Absolutely no idea but through testing i found OFF was the only way to receive 100% emails from line crossing with 3 images attached to the email, any of the 2 resolution settings either stopped emails completely, emailed me with no image or emailed me with a single image, OFF setting gives me... -

and here is a thing, i just switched notifications back on, on my phone, someone crossed a line, i got sent a notification in the 4500 software which gave me a choice, live view, playback or ...cant remember the last option as i deleted it BUT on this occasion... it worked ok -

it should do .. go to image setting in camera UI, on the right where it says ( auto switch ) at the top of the options, change that to ( scheduled switch ), then go to ( video adjustment ) at bottom, drop that set of settings and the bottom option is ( capture mode ) make sure it is set to ( OFF ) -

i am using a single 2cd2342wd-i and i have found in the camera ui not the nvr ui if you select advanced config > image> capture mode > off you get reliable emails on line crossing with images attached, if you select either of the other 2 options in capture mode emails simply dont work or you... -

having just tested in software... and yes i appreciate it is not real world, 12 mm from 80ft above using object removal could possibly work, you are never going to get faces as your above but it would defo be able to detect if your car had been removed as long as you park in the same place each...- hiky

nayr is very passionate and is pretty much spot on so do please take note of what he says, your problem is the distance, most ipcams used in the forum are for home owners with distances that are not as great as yours, for greater distances you will need a longer length lens BUT it depends on...- hiky

Defo an oversight in my typing camfan, PT yes - Z no Actually i`m just playing with jvsg software, although it is missing many cameras it helps with FOV`s and focal lengths alot, and i havent looked but im pretty sure thermal is not an option, tbh neither is nightime but then again i am only...- hiky

9000 lumens per pole x 20 = 180,000 lumens to cover 3,915 m2 i have to be honest it was not my idea and i have no idea if its adequate but anything is better than nothing, i have a feeling it will be pretty workable- hiky

FOV or angle of view on the DS-2CD2342WD-I
maybe 1/3" is easier to print than 1/2.3" ?? at full res it is a bit fisheye and almost appears to look behind itself at the edges but does not stream well, so i drop to 1080 to get a reliable stream with less fisheye -

Funny enough i already looked at exactly those from a different supplier but same kit, they may be of use but again its about location and positioning, overlooking fields hmm not really sure, they would almost certainly introduce the trial and error factor which is time consuming and ultimately...- hiky
