    I'm using a branded app which is the same as iVMS 4500 lite. It's called NVMS7000. I've logged on to the NVR from both and only see the solid blue timeline. Seems that's just the way it is. I'm just hoping they will eventually improve this with a firmware/software update.

    Oh, an odd thing I noticed regarding the RAM.. With 8GB of RAM, I had noticed 80% Memory usage at some points (which seems quite high for dedicated BI server). Now with 16GB of ram, I now see it going as high as 55% Memory usage. It's as if Windows was hungry for more RAM and that was causing it...

    Ah, found it. I was browsing all the help files and stumbled on it where I didn't expect to. In case it might help someone: Go to Status (icon at the top) > Messages tab > Status alerts (button on bottom) > then you see the options there to push certain status alerts.
