    I have had it running for about 2 years. Yes it always overwrites the oldest video until today. I woke up to a erased drive except for midnight to morning.

    I can hold about 8 days of recording, This morning going to check the recording and I only had 1 day of recording starting at midnight to the time I checked. For some reason it had to reformat on its own. Anyone ever have this problem? The NVR is 4208-8P-4KS2

    This has been a large learning curve. The wife say's I'm like a dog with a bone. I have gone from knowing nothing all the way to setting up the VPN server, I have had lots of good reading and some help from good people on the site. The only thing left is the POE switch that I have to get yet...

    I had everything up and running at a test site so I moved NVR to the finale spot plugged in 4 camera's and now only one works the other 3 say failed to find host. What happened? When I searched for the camera's 4 come up with green check mark but when I add 3 go to red dot and one is green.

    That is what is strange it shows my ip for my remote and not my xxxxx.asus.comm.com. My asus says it is registered. That is why it is not updating. As soon as my Ip changes my client on my phone does not work. Should you be able to get to your lan by putting in your xxxxx.asus.comm.com?

    I am running openvpn connect on my android phone. When I generate a .ovpn file from asus router setup as vpn server to export, it has the IP address at that time. When my IP address changes my phone has the old ovpn file so it will not connect. I have asus setup as DDNS. What am I doing wrong...

    Well It was working. I went to log in and guess what. IP changed. Your profile on your phone does it have your ip address or the asuscomm.com. address for the profile, This could be my problem the router is updating but the phone still has the old ip

    Well I reset the client VPN access to local only and sent the export the client.ovpn again. Now when I try to connect is says This profile doesn't include a client certificate.

    Well this morning I was able to connect. Them 10 minutes later it would not let me connect. I did notice in the VPN Server, this was happening. It just keeps spinning.

    This time it wont let me connect. The same IP. OpenVPN on phone says : waiting for server OpenVPN on router says server is running.
