    nope that didnt work. no password i have found online works, it wont default itself, powered down, held reset button and powered on keeping button pressed for just over 30 seconds, nothing, just keeps its same IP.

    i googled and found it, did what it said, set the user and password in the hikvision-cgi section as the same as the login to the camera and still nothing. i find the enable onvif doesnt save though

    this behaviour has been annoying me for ages, on hikvision nvr's you right click the camera you want to replay footage on and select playback it comes up with that camera to play back, but on dahua you have to right click and select search then untick all the camera numbers you dont want to play...
