    Sorted, had to change the lap top gateway to connect. Both the Mac and Windows version would not allow me to change the IP for whatever reason.

    Nothing to worry about? Just figured out how to black list it in the router so all the connections have gone. (just the Foscam) I've just got enough networking knowledge to be dangerous but not quite enough to be effective....

    114 is a Foscam that s due to be retired when the Longse arrives so that will fix that. 112 is a Hik 2232 so that does bother me so much I don't really know what I'm looking at but it seems its making a connection to a WAN IP? image upload no size limit

    Think I get it, you actually get a 'bigger picture' with the heifer res. I've just done some side by side shots and 1080 clips some of the detail off. So, is the IQ the same between a 3MP and 4MP at the same resolution?
