    imx322 + 3516c is the most common setup for a decent 2mp ip cam. Low light isn't its speciality like that seller claims but it's still better than the most popular hikvision cams. If you want a really good low light camera..look for one with the imx185. It's so good in low light that they don't...

    The DS-2CD2345-I is the Chinese version with metal base and WDR. When it says DS-2CD3 , this means it is from the 'consumer' range and has plastic base. DS-2CD2 is distributor range and has some small improvements.

    There's also a 2mp low light ptz with IMX185 instead of IMX178. It is fixed lens though and around the same price, which is surprising. It probably performs even better in low light.

    Tbh the 5mm looked wide enough to me, similar to most 3.6mm. Wondering if the 3.6mm maybe too wide, or perhaps the samples uploaded on shopdelta.eu actually use the 3.6mm but has the wrong specs listed.

    Longse told me the current version of the imx178 dome uses a 3.6mm lens and 20m IR and that the 5mm/40m is no longer produced.

    Go back to page 5 and watch the video posted by Kroegtijgertje . I can see the noise over the whole image here in day time, but still I think it's normal for these 4mp cams as it's been present on all I've seen. We really need to see a video of the problem in day time which shows it clearly.

    Did you remember to change from 360p to a higher res before viewing it on youtube? The video you uploaded looked perfect to me, not smoothed at all, just like I'd expect to see from a 4mp camera.

    I can see the same 'jumping pixels' in that video on the road, as I could see in the videos you posted before, and the one Kroegtijgertje posted. They look exactly the same to me.     The newer Hikvision cameras require a nvr with latest firmware for poe to function. Your new nvr is a Chinese model since it is 'n' and not 'ni' with multi language firmware? Check the version. Most sellers are shipping it with v3.0.x but some are now sending with v3.3.4 which has compatibility...

    Looking at some pics from the Acti e33, I'd have to concur with you. But it's clear the 5mp mentioned here performs amazing in low light compared to anything else in the price range. The specs and sample pics speak for themselves in my opinion.

    All you have to do is look at other videos of similar Hikvision IP cameras. They all exhibit the same thing, even though they are likely tested in different parts of the world on different setups/cables. You seem to have found out the cause is PoE. Obviously the next step is to try new cable...
