    It seems most fisheye/360 cams do not do well in low light environments based on what I have read. Physically, why is that? What prevents them from performing well in low light?

    Thanks. The new 2mp turrent from Dahua you reviewed only has 2 options onboard approx if I am correct. I wasn't sure if analytics options lived on the NVR or not.....Or if analytics require extra software.

    This sucks for me lol. The cam is showing up when I use Fing app to scan my network. When I ping to static local IP....Nada. I don't even know where to start with this issue. BTW, the low light resolution is great on the cam so far.

    I will try easyIP. I have a static WAN IP, the cam is set to a static local IP. I am hoping I ain't did not pay attention to a detail. I assume to proper streaming port would be the RESTO port. What exactly is the UDP and TCP used for?

    with cctv cam deployments voltage drop can be an issue and using larger gauge wire can reduce the problem. how is voltage drop addressed when using ethernet cable for a run that is 200 feet for example...or a longer distance?

    @nayr have you run into heating issues with Dahua NVRs? it seems with 2 HDD spinning that could be an issue? I did not see anything about onboard fans. I have fans laying around I can use if needed.
