Maybe stopping by a hardware store to look at a union would help visualize how they work. I believe it’s been said correctly to turn the top of the nut north, I would also suggest supporting the pipe/fittings on both sides of the nut until you get it broke loose. -

Openvpn, Blue iris and VPNbook , is this correct?
Set up WireGuard on the device with no DNS server and Allowed IPs set to the NVR IP address/32, (x.x.x.x/32). All other web traffic will be routed as normal.- 97JeepXJ

Cheaper possibly. I don’t think it would necessarily be any easier. Ports still have to be forwarded and settings set correctly -

That will be necessary. ZeroTier is always an option that doesn’t require forwarding any ports but I don’t think it works as well -

I went with after but that’s because my router is a dual wan, so if my dsl connection goes down it will switch to the t-mobile home internet. I don’t think that matters if the Brume is connected to a wan port on the Eero, assuming it’s basically a router? I have mine plugged into my router only using the wan port on the Brume, nothing is connected to the lan port. My modem is port forwarded to the router which is port forwarded to... -

I believe you need to forward 51820 UDP from the modem to the Brume. I don’t know anything about the Eero Gateway but the Brume may need to be behind it. As in modem-Eero Gateway-Brume. Then the 51820 forwarded to the EG which then forwards 51820 to the Brume -

Just installed the 2022-11-15 firmware, figured it wouldn’t let me roll it back but worked fine. I lost IVS notifications. Reinstalled the 2023-12-5 firmware and IVS notifications started working again. Again I don’t know where I found it but shows I downloaded it on 1/23/24. Still doesn’t make... -

I don't know where I found the firmware. I assumed Dahua International or DahuaWiki but I don't see it listed anywhere, who knows what random firmware I'm running on those units.
