Hi All,
I recently upgraded my Dahua NVR4108-4SK to a new NVR5216.
Following the upgrade I sold my working NVR4108-4SK on ebay.
However the buyer reported that the NVR did not work on arrival and requested a refund which I have done (although I knew it was working when I sent it out).
Now I...
Im also looking to do a simular thing and was exploring the PTZ route but identified its limitations with night footage.
My question regarding the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E can this camera auto zoom for face detection and LPR?
I'm now confused.
Are the current models auto tracking enabled and what model number ?
I'm seeing SD49225XA-HNR and SD49225T-HN-S2 but can't identify the difference.
Read through the thread from start to finish and thought the auto tracking had been restored with a firmware upgrade that was...
What is the night view performance like?
Can you switch off the IR and run in low light colour as the footage from my current IPC-HFW5231 over the 25 meter area it covers is perfectly acceptable to me.
Could I expect better or worse footage from the 49225XA and will effect the tracking ?
That is exactly the same set up as my pre purchase research. rcirz
Does it also track individules down your path way.
Any facial recognition with dahua capable AI NVR?
What is the differnec between SD49225XA-HNR & SD49225XB-HNR I see listed?
How does night time footage compare to the fixed...
Don't try to fix what isn't broke.
Im not running the latest but It was shipped with V3 firmware and I wanted V4 so updated to
This build seamed to be the most stable on my research.
2nd time lucky as my NVR5216 arrived on time. Upgraded to V4 firmware before I loaded or configured anything onto the new unit to.
Not too much trouble to navigate around the new firmware and set up.
Just one little niggle that I cant seam to adjust.
I have the motion detection email switched...
As per the thread title, does anyone know of a parts supplier for Dahua products. In the past I have modified or made good but on this occasion I'm going to need the following.
I'm looking for a replacement white plastic casing for an NVR4108 if anyone can help.
Was thinking of messaging...
Upadated pictures with camera now roatted 90 degree.
Not as low as i probably should be but lower than before.
Comparison picture also for those looking to twist camera 90 degree.
How are you finding the new NVR5216 ?
I have a Dahua camera set up which is forever growing but my NVR5216 was missing form my last order.
So need to reorder with a differnent supplier or maybe try one of the newer models ?
Hi All,
I've ordered a NVR5208 to replace my NVR4108
Is it possible to use the USB back up from my NVR4108 to restore to my new NVR5208 ?
This would save loads of time setting up the cameras again and trip wires.
I also noticed that the NVR5208 has 2 HDD interfaces.
Do they both need to be...
Hi all,
I currently have a IPC-HDW5231R-Z which I wish to replace with a more suitable camera with the help of other forum users.
As per the picture, I know that I currently have the HDW5231 mounted too high and intend to mount its replacement lower but what Dahua camera would be best suited to...
OMG I can't believe how much activity this thread has created since my last visit.
As suspected by fenderman and many others,it appears to be a hardware fault.
I have monitored the performance of my NVR since the event and had another reboot take place last night which indicates a hardware...
No logs I could find.
SOCO have taken the NVR now along with my neighbours as he cannot log into his as the password is saying invalid, so we will see what they can can find.
Could be a remote coincidence but very remote as I have never lost a recording in the past.
Extremely wierd that this malfunction took place at the exact time scale the theft. I guess time will tell......
Wifi logs on router don't go back far enough only 10 hours or so due to the amount of activity.
I have tried a telnet session but get no connection, don't know if it support sssh
Totally at a loss how they have got in but when things emerge such as SHODAN did it might make a little more sense as...
