    Check out Hikvisions offerings. Dahua firmware is lacklustre and buggy. Make the PTZ you choose are not restricted being able to do the tasks you have in mind by firmware issues.

    Factory Reset did not work. Camera remains parked in preset 2 when triggered by spotter cam. judging by @jmcu comments it looks like its been a legacy issue hence the work around he has identified but thats certainly not a fix :blankstare:

    Straight forward UK help video that is not full of nonsence that you get some other videos over complicating matters. Some video go into DDNS & VPN but you can explore that later when you understand more and want to improve security

    First things first, What message are you getting on gDMSS ? If its failed to connect can you see your device (NVR) but no footage ? There are many reasons for connectivity issues
