    The led stayed on for 65 seconds, way past the time she left the frame. I did a factory reset and started out fresh and made a new IVS rule (just one) and will test it again tonight. Remind me not to flash fw again, what a PITA to re-configure everything !

    Here is yesterday morning. Note no car headlights this time. It does appear the led light pulses some as she is leaving the frame. Also note, I have the warning light to stay on for 20 seconds, well it stayed on for 65 seconds.

    nope, no MD or SMD. But now I am concerned why the led lights did not come on fluffy. I might just default the cam back to factory defaults and start fresh. I tried Andy's 09/28 fw and then went back. I did the default, but now wondering if something is hosed ? I'll report back with better...

    But that is exposure, not Illuminator, where the Smart Illumination setting resides.

    Ok, still trying to figure out what turned on the led warm light. I do not use Smart Illumination during my night profile. Also it was the only time it came on when she walked by.

    I don't think so, fluffy shows on the captures, but not the lady. Also I never knew VLC would play the .dav files :)

    Mine ROI is not enabled. So am I understanding you right, I need to enable it and draw the area where my rule is to eliminate the false trigger?

    The forum wouldn't let me attach more settings pics for some reason again. This global tab...do we need to configure it or disable it, never could figure that one out? I do not have SMD enabled and am wondering if the global setting is the reason.

    It does use the warm leds as a warning light. The lights will turn back off once the IVS rule ends. I may of found why it triggered as I had the global enabled (see pics) The exposure is all default auto. I will tweak that once I get a few more events. I may have to increase the IVS sensitivity...

    I did catch my neighbor's cat, but it did not trigger the IVS. I also for the last 2 mornings the camera catches this lady walking to work, and it triggers the camera's IVS. But as you can see in my settings, it shouldn't of. I have no other motion detection on??

    The only issue I have found so far on the 0731 fw is that I could NOT save a time schedule on the warning light on more than ONE trip wire. I could save multiple tripwires.

    I tried the Andy's 09/28 FW and the BLC function did not work as well as other day/night settings...back to 07/31 FW and it all worked again...lesson learned again :smash:

    I've seen where the update does not close the service properly and the update will hang. Use the task manager and kill the BI process and run the update manually.

    I have had zero issues with the new DB, I record both continuous and motion only across 18 cameras to 3 4TB spinners. All nicely sitting in just 2 files :)
