Maybe I'm the only one, I just can't imagine kissing a big blob of lipstick, no matter who it's on.

    US Elections (& Politics) :)

I've been noticing the past couple of days that the forum rejects my screen shots with an error. After I run them through a resizer utility they go right through.

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Without counting the models with heated front glass, there are 33 different models of these new cameras. Here I'm breaking down the minimum illumination and LED lighting specs. Keying off the model numbers, there are logically 3 camera series: PRO - 4, 6, 8 megapixel models, all with 4 LEDs...

I can describe it. When you're old you can shiver at 72 with the heat on, and have hypothermia at 72 with the AC on.

    Money & Economics

Yes. The sad thing is that the liberals with apparently too much money are leaving the big cities they helped turn into hellholes, going to the smaller places, running up the prices, and continuing their mission to create hellholes. My county was solid red until a few years ago, now heavy blue.

Do whatever works. This won't hurt anything!

IPC-Color4M-T Video Detection automatically reenables itself

BI likes to turn dumb motion detection on, for reasons I can't imagine. Possibly Surveillance Station does that too? My way around it is to go into each camera GUI, set the motion detection sensitivity to zero, the threshold to max, and the time schedule to never.

The BS just keeps getting thicker. "The Social Security relief will come in the form of a refund."

I want to challenge this as possibly untrue and/or misleading. Possibly because I don't squat about the big picture. I do know that my local area is an exception. The first red flag I see is that the headline suggests the plunge is overall nation-wide, yet the data used is from "America's 20...

Something we have to watch out for before propagating all the social media and other media crap: Or was this article itself an AI falsehood? Can't believe anything without confirmation, with the risk that the confirmations are echos of the original falsehood. Business Insider is a hard left...

Gee, another fear inducing social media post leaving the reader to guess what's really happening. Even from crappy AP, this at least provides some explanation. European postal services suspend shipment of packages to US over tariffs " The end of an exemption on tariff duties for low-value...

Here's another good one: "Trump has discovered a simple trick: If he doesn’t like the number, he changes it." To get the complete humor of this article you have to read it. It argues over and over that until Trump was in office, all the numbers that came out of the government were factual...

    US Elections (& Politics) :)

I ran across a great example of why to not post a link or a headline without at least reading the article first. What's the "staggering" number? Thousands, tens of thousands? No, it's 245 during a 6-month period. (I'd consider that staggeringly low). And why do they do this? "Americans'...

    US Elections (& Politics) :)

My that was diplomatic of you! Aside from politely pointing out the inaccurate description, did you have anything to offer about the issue of a state government providing this level of support for another country, or was it just to air your insult? For anybody interested in the issue, look at...

There is an obvious explanation for this. After about 20 years I left Intel right at Y2K. The stock price immediately dropped and has never recovered to what it was back then. ;)

bidens incredible transition to electric cars

Got this today. Being a hopeless liberal state, Oregon has aggressively pushed electric cars, plus we coincidentally have a fairly new data center nearby. I'm sure that will cut back so the ordinary people won't have to :D:rofl::D.
