You are allocating the entire drive, not good!, BI does manage the space, but it needs a bit of overhead to do its work, there will be times when it may temporarily use more than the allocated storage, I would suggest that you reduce space to no more than 1700 -
clip list help
Put your mouse pointer over the list hold down the <Ctrl> key and scroll your mouse wheel up or down to get it the way you want! -

I manage 3 separate systems 18 cameras, 8 cameras and 7 cameras, and I am in my 70's! To keep it simple all they need is the UI3 web interface to be able to view and review the alerts. @bp2008 is the developer of the UI3 interface which is highly customizable from what I have read on the BI forums!- Bruce_H

COCO.NAMES file is it no longer used?
Well now i feel a bit thick headed, I forgot that I had to download the Aimodelpack.exe, the file is now present! Time to firmly plant my palm onto my forehead! Duh! -

I just did a clean install of V6.0.7.4 and noticed that the coco.names file is no longer present, is this a recent change and is there a new location to eliminate detection of objects that I am not interested in being detected by AI -

If you are running the OpenVPN connect client it is a single dedicated link from your PC to the VPN device on the remote network, Is the BI software running on your PC or is it a standalone PC. If the BI software is on a separate PC then it will not be able to use the VPN link from your PC...- Bruce_H

I am no expert on VPN's but perhaps you could explain your VPN setup, is it a VPN set up using your router or a separate VPN device or are you using vpn client software like OpenVPN connect, and is the VPN configured as an extension of you home Lan or does the remote site have it's own subnet?- Bruce_H

If you have a current support plan you can upgrade to V6, I don't believe that you can do the V5 to 6 upgrade from within V5. The highly recommended way is to download the V6 full install from the BI web site and then install it, do not remove V5 before you install V6!- Bruce_H

What brand of mouse? Perhaps if there is special mouse software, try to uninstall it and use the built in windows mouse drivers, I have a vague recollection of a similar problem that was linked to the mouse software!- Bruce_H

I also would like to also suggest that rather than try to get everything working all at once, you try just object detection and not bother with license plates and faces, unless you like the throw the kitchen sink at it approach! -

Yes I am using the current release version 6.06.4 with the integrated AI, you do realize that the more object you ask it to find the longer it takes to process each request you are up to 5,000 ms near the end mine are under 1,690 ms! -

What version of BI are you using? I no longer use CPAI; but on your AI tab of the Blue Iris Settings the list of objects does not look quite right to me. Are you really expecting to detect elephants, zebra and giraffe etc. I always though it was best that the list of objects be paired down to... -

Upgrade from 5 to 6

Yes the original company doing the payments for BI was replaced due to all sort of problem, yes you need a valid support agreement if you want to download and use updates that are past the expiration date of your support agreement, if you try to update and your support is expired your system...- Bruce_H

As @wittaj says I did three systems and did not uninstall V5, they all worked fine on Windows 11 Pro, the V6 install transferred all of the cameras settings over and removed the old v5 service, all I had to do is turn on the service in V6, the V5 license was also transferred over so there was no...- Bruce_H
