    So by doing a factory reset, it gives you a username and password (basically a new Passport) so im using those credentials. I have the D2101V, the latest one with RFID. It does use DHCP, but in my router i reserved the IP and assigned it to its MAC.

    Ordered the SD1A203T, so lets see. Its under a carport on a timber ceiling, it wont get direct sun or weather but I like the durability of IP68 enclosures. Im sure this will be fine.

    Not sure I follow. So what is advertised as 4x optical zoom, whats that mean if you cant zoom whilst the camera is running?
