OMG Thermal!

Here is our one year old Boxer in pursuit of Deer this morning, normally she would chase them off our property
the wife called her back and she came this time, Good Girl, she has been listening more lately:

Keep in mind it is pitch black dark still at 5 in the morning...our house lights stop around the pool area.

We have Deer daily now, during the day and of course at night. Deer Season starts here Nov. 1st

This Young Buck was in our front yard yesterday:

Is it compulsory to own one of these thermal cameras now :wow::clap: ... it would be useful for critter spotting, so surely a worthwhile investment. Wonder if Dahua/Andy will be selling a selection box for Christmas :lol:

Thermals are a must!

Not even just for critters.

It makes a great spotter cam for a PTZ to turn it prior to a visible camera being able to see the person or car.

In the event of an incident, it allows you to make out everything.

We had an incident and the police were called and I was able to tell them where the person was hiding because I could track them on the thermal at distances my visual camera couldn't see.

I'm so ready to have two of those thermal cameras (front and back yards) but my wife still doesn't understand "The Need" for these fabulous thermal cameras. My best way of procurement will be writing a letter to Santa or Andy's Lottery. She also doesn't understand the need of a new Porsche 911 GT3 Wifes

:wtf: Seems like I am way behind the curve at the moment! Critters of all kinds it would seem, I mean you realise the power of thermal imaging when you see helicopters using them. More money then, more cameras then, just another day then!

Sometimes the need is perceived as the want. You could always suggest the Touring, just explain you decided to settle for the basic model without the wing :p
