I have previously posted about dome replacement but it cost $25.00 my question is would you folks recommend upgrade my IPC-HDBW5231E-Z (I have 6 of them) at this point or not.

Yes to either the 5442-S3 series with select scenes to something like the 3449Pro where white LEDs could be helpful, like at an entrance
Of course if you want color and have good motion floods the 5442 series still produces a great image

Do not use Dome cameras outdoors, the dome causes' lots of issues'.
almost all my outdoor cameras are dome, I guess I will slowly moving away from them
