    I can do partial zooms when I access the "camera's" Web Gui at the NVR console, and through the Web GUI. But unable to partial zoom using the Web GUI.

    I was able to do all of these zoom until the NVR upgrade. Now unable to do partial zooms using IE Web GUI, all other methods I can still use partial zooms.

    BigRedFish, do you have any IPC-HDW2231-ZS cameras on your NVR and have capability to do partial zooms in and out? BTW, I do use IE Nice back yard!

    I seldom zoom, only if necessity dictates the need for closer inspection. And I have to disagree. I believe the NVR software controls the interface between the user and the camera's operation. Using the Web access doesn't give you direct access to the camera but is a bridge between the user...

    Yes, that is the firmware for the NVR. The cameras have the original firmware (there aren't any upgrades).

    Yes, I have had zero problems with the eight IPC-HDW2231R-ZS cameras. They have been perfect for my application.
