Trying to install ALPR on Windows 11 and I'm getting ALPR_adapter.py: INFO: Could not find files for the given pattern(s).

I heard that CPAI worked better (AFTER the painful setup) and I was almost done setting it up. I just need the ALPR working and I'm golden.

Trying to install ALPR on Windows 11 and I'm getting ALPR_adapter.py: INFO: Could not find files for the given pattern(s).

This is what I get when I try to install ALPR. It SAYS it's running, but it won't find any license plates, no matter what image I use. Has anyone run into this before? <SNIP> 17:07:57:ALPR: - Installing the CodeProject.AI SDK...(✅ checked) done 17:07:57:ALPR: Scanning modulesettings for...

Trying out CodeProject.AI and getting "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'codeproject_ai_sdk'" when starting up

Ugh, now I'm getting the following error when starting up the license plate module: 16:02:41:Started License Plate Reader module 16:02:41:Installer exited with code 0 16:02:42:ALPR_adapter.py: INFO: Could not find files for the given pattern(s). 16:02:42:ALPR_adapter.py: C:\Program...

Trying out CodeProject.AI and getting "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'codeproject_ai_sdk'" when starting up

Ok, I found a fix and I'm posting it here for anyone else (running codeproject.ai on Windows) who runs into this issue. This fixed it for me: Close the CodeProject.AI Server (or stop the service in services.msc). Open Command Prompt as an Administrator. Navigate to the Face Processing module...

    Which YOLO to use?

I tried YOLO8 and it would not switch over to use my GPU. Turns out it's only for NVIDIA cards. If you have an AMD, you have to use the .net version as it's the only one with DIRECTML for non CUDA video cards (AMD). I guess I have my answer. Took a lot of tries to find this out.

    Which YOLO to use?

So, I'm trying to get into using AI with BlueIris but I'm discovering there is quite a bit of a learning curve. I'm setting up a new BlueIris instance on my system and I have an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (16MB) and what I've read said that I should use YOLOv5 .NET for AMD, but is that true? Should...

Trying out CodeProject.AI and getting "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'codeproject_ai_sdk'" when starting up

So I was following one of the CodeProject.AI tutorials as everyone was saying that the AI detection is way better, I thought I would try it out. I installed CodeProject.AI on my Windows 11 system (brand new, fresh OS install) and when it starts up, I'm getting this in the log: 22:37:29:Started...

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

Ok, I think I'm sold on the Reolink, but I'm going to try to see if I can get the POE running at my door (if I can run the cable).

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

I can't seem to find a wireless version on Amazon. This may just force me to spend some time fishing a wire to my front door. That outside wall is going to be hell.... But how is the "hub"? Does it need to be plugged in? That is essentially your door bell chime, right? So it has to be...

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

I'd LOVE a POE doorbell, but I don't think I could get a cable up to the doorbell location.

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

I ran into this review while searching: https://www.vueville.com/home-security/doorbells/best-wireless-video-doorbell-cameras-recommendations/ It recommends the Amcrest AD410 which (they say) works with BlueIris! They also say it's dual band which is GREAT because I just bought a 5Ghz Wimesh...

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

I've got a LaView LV-PDB1630 that I'm using for my front doorbell and it keeps dropping its connection so I'm losing a LOT of footage. I have a first-generation Hikvision DS-HD1 on the back door and it works great, but my only complaint was that the video quality/resolution isn't that clear...

Is there any way to see what the object size and contrast was that caused a trigger?

Ok, I think I found it. For those who stumble upon this thread, you need to search the help file for "Testing & Tuning" exactly (you need the ampersand). The long and short of it is that you need to go to the playback of the camera you want to tune, right click and select "Testing and Tuning"...

Is there any way to see what the object size and contrast was that caused a trigger?

I've got an automatic light that constantly triggers my cameras and sends me an alert. Is there any way to find out what the object size and contrast that triggered that alert, this way, I can just set it under that and stop it from being triggered just when the lights are going on/off?

Which zone does BI use for triggering?

It sounds like that box is just for zone crossing though, no?
